The wonder of a Women's touch

THE WONDER OF A WOMAN’S TOUCH
By her normal daily activities, a woman ministers to several people in her household. As she manages the house, cares for children, supports the husband, reaches out to in-laws, visit neighbours attends to visitors, her life influences many people. Without God’s grace, these duties become a burden too heavy for her to shoulder.
Interestingly, when a woman receives the touch of Christ, she experiences a great transformation that brings such a refreshing. Instead of heaviness and regrets, she fulfil her daily duties with purposeful commitment. She is able to touch lives with her unique Christ-like character of humility, tenderness, blamelessness, holy, quietness, transparency of life and deeds, purity of motives etc. Instead of being moody, gloomy, quarrelsome and argumentative, she is welcoming and loving.
A woman is naturally made a conduit of influence. With the touch of Jesus, she supernaturally becomes a confection of beauty. History recorded the life of a woman who receives God’s regenerating grace, and then her life went aglow for Christ. Thereafter, she endure sore persecutions until her husband abandoned her but she remained undaunted and pious. She touched her children and neighbours with scriptural training and effectual prayers of intercession. Her bowels of compassion yearned the strangers and the afflicted. In the office, she was a shining light to all. To her in-laws, she kept a wide and open line for communicating Christ. In the church, she was a pillar, an empathising counsellor and a sound teacher of God’s word. In the neighbourhood, couples called on her again and again for counselling.

These and many more were the encomiums showered on her at her wake-keeping service, when she was called home to rest in heaven’s glory. It was only her husband she could not convince to know the lord. But during that Christian wake-keeping programme, he saw God’s love and the glorious influence and tremendous impact of his wife’s touch on lives, whereas he rewarded hostility for her genuine love. He was convinced at heart; then he surrendered his life to Christ Jesus. So, in life and death, the wonder of the touch of this woman’s life resounded.
Woman, how are you today? A confection of Beauty or a cauldron of troubles?
